Michael Accorsi | on Tumblr (USA)
San Francisco Bay artist Michael Accorsi works from his mountaintop studio in Northern California. Working mostly in oil, he works to make a connection through his paintings. “The aim of my art is to bring people to a place they may not have considered before. To make a ephemeral connection with another - without the use of analysis and vocabulary.” Coming from a family of artists in Maryland and Pennsylvania, Michael’s style is lyrical and expressive. He believes that art has to be able to take the human being to a place they are unable or unaware of on their own.

"Prologue is a series of fine teas inspired by literary classics. Each canister of loose leaves features a unique blend of flavors that characterizes the novel. The designs on the tins include motifs from the narratives and other elements that are a part of the reading experience."

I love coming up with stories, making things, and making things happen, and I’m currently learning how to make things responsibly.
